Proper fuel filtration is essential to protecting Kubota tractors and maintaining reliable engine performance. The 1J800-43170 fuel filter is engineered to meet factory specifications and keep the fuel system running clean and strong.

ensure correct fitment.
Primary and Secondary Filter System — Most Kubota tractors use both a primary pre-filter or water separator and a secondary fine fuel filter. Replace both filters at the same service interval for optimal protection. The water separator bowl should be
drained every 50 hours or when the warning indicator activates.
Correct Installation Method — Clean the filter mounting surface thoroughly. Lubricate the rubber seal with a thin film of clean diesel fuel. Spin the filter on by hand until the seal makes firm contact with the mounting surface, then tighten an additional
3/4 turn.
When to Replace — Under normal operating conditions, replace the fuel filter every 200 hours. When using lower-quality or potentially contaminated fuel, replace every 100 hours. Always check the operator's manual for model-specific service intervals.
An initial fuel filter inspection at 50 hours on new machines is recommended.
