Give your aquatic turtle a dry basking area you can adjust as she grows. The Cuvanthera platform uses a 4mm diamond-mesh deck designed with narrow openings and no square corners, while the open-rung ramp provides a different surface for climbing. If your turtle struggles to reach the deck, lower the platform one hole. If she gets too close to the tank rim, raise it. The steel-reinforced ABS deck supports up to 13.2 lb, and six suction points—four on the vertical arms and two on the lower feet—help distribute the hold on smooth glass or acrylic. Water drains through the open deck instead of collecting on top. A corner feeding tray helps keep food from dropping directly into the water. The deck measures 9.8 x 7.9 in and requires a tank at least 12 in wide; measure your usable tank width, waterline and rim clearance before ordering. For installation, position all suction cups loosely against a clean, smooth surface first, let them settle flat, then tighten the star knobs. New platform? Start at the lowest practical setting, place a little food on the deck and allow several days for your turtle to investigate it
