Nike Women's LD-1000 Sneakers, Lt Armory Blue/Baroque Brown, 12 Medium US

Description In 1977, Nike founded what would become one of the most important running clubs in the United States: the Athletics West. In the same year the LD-1000 was launched, then withdrawn shortly afterwards due to safety concerns due to the over-flared heel. Phil Knight believed the retreat would spark controversy, but the audience's reaction was of gratitude. Now the wait is over. The iconic flared heel is ready to return to the scene. This traditional edition of the LD-1000 features special graphics on the insole that pay tribute to the legendary athletic club. Plus, suede and breathable fabrics combine with a waffle sole to create the old-school look you love.
