Opus 88 Fantasia has a colorful design that winks to both lovers of classical fountain pens, with traditional colors, but also to the most extrovert thanks to other special colors. Semi-transparent resin body and ebonite cap and caseback are the technical characteristics of the pen, while the colors available are 5: Black Blue Red Brown Orange The particular loading system, which distinguishes all the Opus 88, is called Eyedropper and recalls the traditional Japanese charging system where it is added to the dropper, also used in Europe since the 1800s, a flow valve that on Opus 88 is in ebonite. To refill the pen simply unscrew the writing group and insert the ink into the tank with a special pipette contained in the package. Once everything is screwed up, the ink is obtained to the nib by acting on the back of the pen body and opening the valve in the tank. After writing the valve closes and the fountain pen is transported safely as the flow is blocked. You can then carry any Opus 88 on the plane and subject to extreme pressure/temperature without risking leakage or ink spills. It is possible to screw the cap on the bottom of the fountain pen so that it is fixed and placed in writing and filling the hand despite the compact size of the pen. Always for a speech related to size, a groove on the back of the pen body matches a finish placed above the cap in order to act on the charging system in full comfort.
