This Freezer Thermistor Clip is a small clip that secures the evaporator thermistor (a temperature sensor) inside the freezer compartment. This part is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Amana®, KitchenAid® and Maytag® refrigerators; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience.
