This Dryer Snap Retaining Ring retains the drum support roller or similar roller/shaftholder, attaching it securely to the shaft so that the drum spins smoothly without losing the roller position. This part is designed to be used with select dryer brands, including Whirlpool®, Maytag®, JennAir® and KitchenAid®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience.
