How To Use:
Installation Instructions:
1. Remove existing pipe covers. Remove all old roof sealant at least 2 inch around the solar vent flange.
2. Place the solar ventilation fan on the duct vent and draw a pencil line around the flange to verify the area and the duct vent clearance.
3. When installing solar vents, use only tape or caulking sealant that is compatible with plastic and roof surfaces. Do not use solvents that will damage the flange. Apply sealer or caulk to areas marked with a pencil. Apply carefully to avoid crevices that may allow water to enter.
4. Attach the solar vent to the roof using the screws provided.
5. Apply additional roof sealant to screw heads and around flange edges.
6. Do not put fingers or other objects in the solar vent.

This product is powered by solar energy. There is no internal battery and no power storage function.
