• PL MOUNT MODIFICATION KIT: The PL Mount Modification Kit (Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K) allows users to convert their BMPCC6K camera to a PL Mount through a short modification process. Shims are provided with the kit for adjusting back focus. The Pocket Camera 6K's own EF Mount screws are used to attach the PL Mount to the camera.
• EXPAND YOUR LENSES: Expand your lens choices to include the most cine-style PL lenses by replacing your Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K camera's EF lens mount with this PL Mount Modification Kit from Wooden Camera. The kit includes a set of seven shims for aligning the back focus, along with all necessary tools and hardware.
• REVERSED MOUNT SWAP PROCESS: The best thing about these modifications is that the lens mount swap process can be reversed. If you choose to go back to EF mount in the future, you can do it by reversing steps in the process, however, Wooden Camera warns that switching back and forth will eventually strip the plastic in your camera as the sensor block is made of a composite plastic material.
• STAINLESS STEEL AND AIRCRAFT GRADE ALUMINUM: The PL mount itself is made of stainless steel and aircraft-grade aluminum and includes the PL port cap. Shims are provided with the kit for adjusting back focus and the appropriate shims are installed prior to shipping. Further adjustment should not be needed but can be checked using a wide-angle lens and a focus chart.
• COMPATIBLE DESIGN: The majority of S35mm lenses are compatible, but lenses with a rear protrusion longer than 40mm measured from the PL flange are not compatible with this mount. Some lenses may not fit due to the shape of the BMPCC 6K body design.
