Install at 68-77°F, press the cup firmly, push the lock lever down and leave it unloaded for 1 hour before attaching a phone. When the outside temperature exceeds 113°F, vent mounting is recommended. Check the mount before each drive.
• CHECK VEHICLE CLEARANCE — This 2.7 in fixed-height pedestal works best with open dashboards and enough clearance below the windshield, a layout common in SUVs, pickups, minivans and vans; vehicle type alone does not guarantee fit. Confirm the 2.86 in base can sit on a flat surface and the phone with its case will not touch the glass or block the road view, controls or airbags. Low or sharply raked windshields and shallow dashboards may need the included vent mount or a telescoping-arm mount.
• SHORT-PILLAR SUCTION MOUNT — The fixed short-pillar design is intended to reduce the leverage that can make long-arm mounts shake. It does not extend like a long-arm mount. The base can rotate 360° after installation: lift the lock lever, adjust the angle, then press the lever down again. Holding performance varies with surface condition, temperature, phone weight and installation, so a suction mount should not be treated as permanent.
• PHONE AND CASE FIT — Designed for most standard 4-7 in phones with cases under 0.67 in thick.
